The Braves Entertainment Corps will be hosting several number of events in the next upcoming weeks. Please be sure to plan accordingly.
Schedule:
Spring Showcase Concert
When: Friday, April 27, 2018, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Where: Baldwin Park High School Gym
Cost: $5 and is open to the public. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
The Spring Showcase will feature the Percussion Ensemble, Winter Guard, Jazz Band, Concert Band and Wind Ensemble. Tickets will be available with Mr. Huerta or can be purchased online. They also may be purchased at the door.
Band Awards Banquet
When: Friday, May 11, 2018, 6:00 – 10:30 p.m.
Where: Baldwin Park High School Gym
Cost: It is free for Current Band or Color Guard Students. Guest fee is TBD at a later time.
A banquet style awards evening has been planned to honor Band and Color Guard students. The goal for the evening is to make the banquet a special event (dress-up), in recognition of all the time and energy devoted to the season. A delicious hot buffet dinner will be served during the event.
District Jazz Night
When: Tuesday, May 15, 2018, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Where: Baldwin Park Performing Arts Center
Cost: It is free and open to the public.
The Baldwin Park School District will present an evening of jazz performed by the district’s award winning Jazz Bands from both Baldwin Park and Sierra Vista High School, 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Baldwin Park Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.
Spring Concert
When: Thursday, May 17, 2018, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Where: BP Performing Art Center
Cost: $3 online and $5 at the door. Refreshments will be available to purchase.
Please join us at the Baldwin Park Performing Arts Center for our Annual Spring Concert! Our end-of-the-year concert will feature the culminating work of our Concert Band and Wind Ensemble, and it will be the final performance for the seniors. At the end of the concert, each of our seniors will be honored.
Fundraiser: Band Night at Angel’s Stadium
When: Saturday, May 19, 2018, 5:30 – 10:30 p.m.
Where: Angel’s Stadium
Cost: $20 online and open to the public.
Mark your calendars and join the Baldwin Park HS Band for a fun night of baseball at Angel Stadium as the Angels take on the visiting Tampa Bay Rays. Be sure to get there early as your very own Braves’ Entertainment Corps will be taking the field to perform the National Anthem! Proceeds will go back to the band program. Don’t forget to stick around after the game for a post game fireworks show! Tickets are $20 and will be located in the 400-500 levels. Tickets can be purchased with Mr. Huerta or online.
